“make a WISH” layout Cricut Class

Here’s one of my latest creations with the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.

Artbooking Class 05 - Smaller

I have to give credit to Krista Hershberger for her inspiration with this layout.  She designed the majority of it and I just added a bunch of other stuff.

Artbooking Class 05 - Left

I used papers from the Timberline and Skylark Paper collections and embellished with the Green/Blue Epoxy Bubbles.

Artbooking Class 05 - Right

You can join me and create this page at my next Cricut Class this Saturday, May 31 at 9am in my studio in Amelia, VA.

May Card Club

Hello!  Today I wanted to share with you the cards that we will be making at this month’s Card Club.

Card Club 05 (1) - Smaller

If you are local to Amelia, VA I hope you will join us on either:

Thursday, May 29 at 6:30pm

Sunday, June 1 at 2pm

Cost is $25 to make 12 cards (3 each of the 4 designs)

(price includes all cards, envelopes, paper, and embellishments)

If you don’t live near Amelia, VA I can put together a kit for you.  If you want me to stamp it for you add $5.  If shipping applies add $5.

For these cards I used the Paper Fundamentals Basics Assortment paper pack.  I just LOVE these papers.  They are all neutral with an embossed design on one side and the same design printed on the back.

Card Club 05 (3)

For these 2 cards I used the “You’re The Best” stamp set (C1571).

Card Club 05 (5)

I embellished the cards with the Durable Artisan Studs (Z1816) and the Durable Triangle Studs (Z1928).

Card Club 05 (2)

These last 2 cards were stamped with the May Stamp of the Month – You’ve Got a Friend.  Remember to get yours only during the month of may for just $5 when you place a $50 order.  Click here to start shopping.

Card Club 05 (4)

On this last card I inked the “red” piece of paper.  Because the paper has an embossed design on one side you can sponge ink on it and the design will “resist” the ink.  Pretty cool.

Scrapbook Club

I can’t believe it is already May and here I am posting about what we are doing in June.  We are using the Jubilee collection to create 4-12x12 pages for June’s Scrapbook Club.

Now, I have to admit that I didn’t care for this collection when I first saw the pages in the book.  However, once I created these pages I liked it.  It is perfect for summer pics of any event.

As always, you can choose to buy the Workshop on the Go Kit which includes the stamp set or just get the paper and embellishments.  The choice is up to you.

Jubilee Pages 1&2 - Smaller

Jubilee Pages 3&4 - Smaller

I used the embellishments that come in the Workshop on the Go Kit and created the pages mostly like CTMH did.  However, I did add the Topiary Mini Chevron Ribbon (Z1929) to both of the layouts.  I really liked the texture that it added to the pages.

So who wants to join in the fun?

Thursday, June 5 at 6:30pm

Sunday, June 8 at 2pm

Cost starts at just $27 and includes a full paper packet (you'll have leftovers) and all embellishments needed to complete the pages.
But, remember you choose how much you want to spend and purchase only the embellishments and tools that you want.

Register by Monday, May 19

If you can't make it to the workshop, simply purchase the Jubilee Workshop On The Go Kit and I'll include my instructions for both layouts for free.

Mark you Calendar for upcoming Scrapbook Club Dates:
July 10 & 13

Thanks for stopping by.
