Pear & Partridge Scrapbook Club - Pages 3&4

Thanks for coming back today.  Here I have the 2nd layout for the Scrapbook Club in November using the Pear & Partridge Workshop On The Go kit (G1052).

I have to admit that I had some help on this one.  My sister, Shannon Hensley, helped me (over Skype - that was fun) to create this layout.

The inspiration for this layout came from our new Cricut Artiste Collection.  The "Merry Christmas" title is one of the 700 images that you can cut with this cartridge.  I just had to use it for the Scrapbook Club.  I added some of our Glitz Glitter Gel in Almond to really make it stand out.

And aren't these candy canes adorable.  They are part of the Pear & Partridge Complements Glittery Rub-Ons that come in the Workshop Kit.  I just added some sparkles to really make them shine.

This is a combination of rub-ons, stamps, and sparkles.  The cranberry swirls are stamps.  The flourish, bird and flowers are rub-ons with some sparkle added randomly because who doesn't love a little bling.

If you live near Amelia, VA you are invited to join us in November for the monthly Scrapbooking Club that meets in my studio on the following dates:

Thursday, November 8 from 6:30-9:30pm
Sunday, November 11 from 2-5pm
(I only ordered 3 extra paper packs, so contact me TODAY to guarantee your seat.)
Cost varies, but begins at just $16 (which includes a full level 2 paper packet with 12 sheets of paper).

If you aren't local I can put a kit together for you with my cutting directions and mail it to you.  Simply email me at jaime_llewellyn@yahoo.com to purchase your kit today.

Pear & Partridge Scrapbook Club - Pages 1&2

I just love scrapbooking Christmas pages and this year's Christmas paper packet is a must have.  CTMH used very traditional colors with a hint of Smoothie (a pink) thrown in and they are beautiful.  Here is the layout that CTMH created with the Pear & Partridge Workshop On The Go kit (G1052).

The Pear & Partridge Workshop On The Go kit includes the following:
My Acrylix® Pear & Partridge Workshop Stamp Set
Pear & Partridge Paper Packet
Colonial White Cardstock (2 sheets)
Pear & Partridge Complements Glittery Rub-Ons
Sparkles Red, Pink, & Purple Assortment
Instructional Guide

Here are some pictures of the stamped images on this layout.  The tree was stamped with Olive Ink on Olive Cardstock.

The border below was stamped in Cashemere ink and the "half" snowflakes were stamped in Cranberry. I also added our new Glitz Glitter Gel in Almond for some extra sparkle.

I used our new Rub-On Tool and it worked "like butta".  Simply cut out the rub-on that you want to use, remove the protective backing sheet, and rub it on to your page.  It's that easy.
I just love the bird.

Very Merry Christmas Gift Tags

So each month CTMH comes out with a Stamp Set that is only available during that month and gives you the opportunity to get the stamp set at a discount.  It's our Stamp of the Month program.  These stamp sets are regularly priced at $17.95, but with just a $50 purchase you can get the stamp set for only $5.

This month's stamp set is called Very Merry Christmas.

Here are some gift tags that I have created using this stamp set and both of our Cricut Cartridges (Art Philosophy and Artiste).

I just love how easy the Cricut makes things.  What a time saver that I don't have to cut the paper.

Both of these gift tags are Dimensional Elements (chipboard).  Each of the Cricut cartridges come with 3 sheets of our Dimensional Elements.  Art Philosophy comes with a sheet of gift tags.  So this tag is really sturdy and will hold up on a gift to a special someone this holiday season.

Be sure to check back tomorrow as I've got even more artwork featuring this month's Stamp of the Month, Very Merry Christmas.

Have a great day! Jaime

"A Gift For You" Card

So yesterday I shared the "A Gift For You" card that I created using the October Stamp of the Month, Very Merry Christmas

I mentioned that the ornament was cut using our Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  Well, the card itself was also cut with this cartridge.  That's how I got the scalloped edge around it and......

...a pocket to hold a gift card on the inside.  Isn't that just perfect!  Where else can you make your own cards to hold a gift card?  I just love it!  It's so easy and inexpensive!

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see more artwork using the October Stamp of the Month.

Have a great day!!

October Stamp of the Month

The October Stamp of the Month, Very Merry Christmas, is a "must-have" for your collection.  It features tags for your Christmas gifts, mittens, and sentiments that can be used for Christmas or winter in general.  Best of all 5 of the images coordinate with our Cricut Artiste Collection.  That's right!  You don't have to cut out your stamped images - your cricut will do it for you.  Woot Woot!!

Each of the images above that have an outline around them coordinate with the exact same image on the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  And it gets even better, the carrier sheet (pictured above) also tells you what page the image is on and what size to cut the image.

Do you see next to the mitten in the upper left corner - 2 1/2" and p.79?  That is telling you that the image of the mitten is on page 79 of the Cricut Artiste Cartridge booklet and it should be cut at 2 1/2".  How easy is that?  (Close To My Heart's philosophy is Faster, Simpler, Easier and this is just another way that they prove that.)

So here is one of the many things that I have already created using this stamp set.

I cut the ornament out of Colonial White paper and stamped it with our new Cranberry pigment ink, then  heat embossed it with Cranberry embossing powder.  Here's a closer look at the ornament.

I also added some sparkles to really highlight the ornament.

Remember that this Stamp of the Month is only available during the month of October.  With a purchase of $50 you can get this stamp set for just $5.  Click here to start shopping.

Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what is inside the card.  Does anyone have a guess?

Moonlight Card with Silver Shimmer Trim Ribbon

I know I keep saying it, but I LOVE the new Silver Shimmer Trim Ribbon and the Moonlight Paper pack.  Here is a card that I made that I think is elegant enough for a wedding.

This is the card that inspired the scrapbook page in the previous post.  The rose and the scalloped oval are both cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  These roses are so beautiful and so easy to roll.  The rose was cut out of Colonial White Cardstock and then painted with our Create-A-Shade Pearl Paint.  Simply set is aside to dry, sponge the edges with Slate ink and then roll it up.

Here is a list of the products used:
X7161B Moonlight Paper Packet
Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy Collection
D1525 Casual Expressions
Z2503 Exclusive Inks Mini Pigment Pad Sets Basics Assortment

Scrapbooking Club uses Moonlight paper packet

I can't believe how much I love this paper.  I never thought I would be saying that a Halloween paper collection is my favorite out of 7 others.  Well, I don't know if it is my favorite, but I do LOVE it.  Here are the 2 pages that CTMH designed using the Moonlight Workshop On The Go kit.

Yes, that's me in the pictures - I think I was almost 2.  When I saw this page that CTMH had created I thought of these pictures.  Now since I don't have children of my own I wanted to create the other page so that it could be used for something other than Halloween and I love how it turned out.

I added the Silver Shimmer Trim Ribbon to the pages to dress them up.  I can't get enough of this ribbon.  First, it is adhesived backed and you can color it with our alcohol markers - need I say more.  You can purchase it by clicking here.  Check back tomorrow for a card that I created with this paper and the silver shimmer trim.  The card was actually my inspiration for this page.

If you are local you can come and make these 2 pages during the month of October.  At this workshop we will also use the blending pen to add just a touch of color to the mummy and the lamp.

Remember if you aren't local, I can put together a kit for you with directions.

If you are local, I hope you will join us in October for the monthly Scrapbooking Club that meets in my studio in Amelia, VA on the following dates:

Thursday, October 18 from  6:30-9:30pm
Sunday, October 21 from 2-5pm
(I only ordered 3 extra paper packs, so contact me TODAY to guarantee your seat.)

Cost varies, but begins at just $16 (which includes a full level 2 paper packet with 12 sheets of paper). You can check out the Workshop On The Go kit here.

Email me to attend the workshop or place your order here for these great products!
If you aren't local or just can't make it to the workshop that's okay too. I'll put together a kit for you with my cutting instructions and detailed directions on putting the pages together on your own.  Simply email me at jaime_llewellyn@yahoo.com.
