In uncertain economic times, a secure company offering great products
can be hard to find. Close To My Heart offers that stability to its
Consultants, who also enjoy being able to do what they love: create and
preserve memories! Watch the video to learn why now—more than ever—is a
great time to celebrate creativity, preserve memories, and share the
Close To My Heart opportunity!
Check out this video. I just love background stamps and I don't use them enough. In this video you will discover tips and tricks for using background stamp sets to create
continuous images, personalized patterned papers, and nested designs.
I love the stamp set In The Background (D1540) that Monica used in the video. (I actually have 3 in stock so if you are local let me know and I'll save you some money on shipping.)
Here are some cards that I created using this stamp set. (The circle cards were designed by Karen Pederson and the "Home Sweet Home" card was designed by Close To My Heart.)
Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to come back tomorrow for my first ever blog hop. I am so excited to be participating in the Stamper's With An Attitude Blog Hop.

I've said it a million times before, but I just love being a Close To My Heart Consultant. This company gives us so many tools to help us with our business; from free newsletters and websites, to training videos for business and creativity. You can earn some extra cash and even a week long paid vacation for you and a friend. You can create a business or simply support your scrapbooking, cardmaking, and stamping habit - hobbyists are welcome. If you are still not convinced check out the page "Join my Team" to learn more or click here to join today.
So back to why I love this company, today I'm sharing a video that they have made called "Clearly the Best - Embossing and Stamping". Did you know that embossed images resist ink? Learn this fun trick to ink the areas around your embossed images to make them really stand out!
So what do you think? I think I'm going to use this technique for my February Card Workshop. There are some great new background stamps in the New Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book that I had planned to use and this technique would really step it up a notch.
I hope you will come back tomorrow, as I plan to share the cards we are creating for January's Card Workshop to be held Thursday, January 24 at 6:30pm - cost is $25 and there is still time to join us.
I have to admit that I have never been fond of coloring stamps, until now. With our new alcohol markers they make coloring so much fun. I hope to have some artwork to share with you soon, but in the meantime I hope that you enjoy this video on how to use our new alcohol markers.
Also, stay tuned for an upcoming class featuring our new alcohol markers.
