Items of Business–wait I mean FREE Product!!!

Hello everyone!  I know it has been a while since I have posted because I am feverishly working to keep my head above water.  I have been creating new projects, teaching new classes, and hosting Open Houses for the 1st time.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is starting to come into view.

Mystery Hostess Winner

Anyway, I know you are all anxiously waiting to find out who is the winner of the Idea Book Celebration Mystery Hostess Party.  Well, the great news is that we had one more order come in at the last minute which put us over the next level of Hostess Rewards. So the winner is going to get $60 in free product and 1 item at 50% off.  Last night I had my husband draw the winner from all of those that were entered and without further delay, drum roll please …………..…………………………….

Darline Wilder

you are the Hostess and winner of free product. (Darline, I will send you a separate email with all of the details.)

Marker Trade Up

As many of you know, we had some quality control issues with our previous alcohol markers over the last 2 years, so this year we are replacing them with the well known, high quality ShinHan Touch Twin Alcohol Markers. I have used them on a few projects so far and am very pleased. They are ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand and have both a fine point and broad tip. Even though colors are not CMTH specific, they are gorgeous and I will provide a handy chart (designed by fellow consultant Ellen Jarvis) to show CTMH coordinating colors for each ShinHan color.

Since I feel so strongly about the quality of these new markers and so badly about the experience that you had with our old alcohol markers, if you purchased the previous CTMH alcohol markers from me, you can trade them in for the NEW markers! The previous markers sold in a two-pack for $5.95 each. The new markers are $5.95 each. Trade in your old two-pack for a NEW ShinHan marker of your choice! There are 24 colors to choose from!

For those that didn't purchase the previous ones or want to hold on to them, I have another special for you! For every 5 new markers you purchase, you can choose one of the Mini Stamp Sets FREE! Many of these mini stamps are perfect for coloring in with the new markers!

Thanks for stopping by!

Idea Book Celebration Recap

THANK YOU so much to everyone that came out to my Idea Book Celebration on Sunday!  It was so great to see you all and catch up with some of you that I haven’t seen in a long time.

I had yummy refreshments out for everyone.  (Of course the drinks were in the fridge, and I forgot to tell everyone that’s where they were. So I still have lots of lemonade, good thing it’s my favorite. And the veggies were still in the fridge for this picture.)

I had tons of product laid out for everyone to see.  And of course, everyone who came got their own Idea Book to take home with them.

I offered a few specials on my inventory (surprisingly no one took me up on it).  And a cute card with the August Stamp of the Month to make and take home.

There was also the excitement of the Mystery Hostess Party, which you can still be a part of.  Place an minimum order of $25 before August 10th and you’ll be entered to win the rewards.  Right now the Party is up to $325 which will earn someone $40 in free product and 1 item at 50% off*.  But we are only $25 away from the next level in which someone will earn $60 in free product and 1 item at 50% off*.  So be sure to get your order in for your chance to win.  You can email me your order or place it directly on my website, just be sure that it gets added to the “Idea Book Celebration Mystery Hostess Party”.

And last, there were Door Prizes.  I chose to pull 2 names and the winners are:

Darline Wilder

Marie Ireland

Yeah,  Darline has won a new embellishment pack and Marie won the “Happy Birds” stamp set.  Congrats ladies!  I will be mailing your prizes to you.

So special thanks again to everyone that came out!  Remember you can still be the winner of the Mystery Hostess Party and win a minimum of $40 in free product and 1 item at 50% off*.

Oh and I can’t forget to say a big thank you to Carol Wine-Bucklew who grabbed my camera and took these candid shoots for me to remember the day.  Thanks Carol!!

Thanks for stopping by.

August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop–What a Hoot

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

This month we have 67 Consultants featuring the August Stamp of the Month, What A Hoot, a set of 17 stamps.  Remember that this stamp set is only available during the month of August.  Place an order of $50 and get the Stamp of the Month for just $5.

If you have come here from Dawn Haight's Blog you are on the right path! If you get lost along the way you can find the complete list on Melinda’s Blog here.

I created a simple card for my upcoming Idea Book Celebration Make-N-Take.

I used the new Scaredy Cat Paper Packet (X7185B) and the Paper Fundamentals Adventure Assortment (Z2032).

To color the eyes and hat I used our new ShinHan Touch Twin Markers (eyes - Pastel Green Z2459 and hat - Marigold Z2457).  I am really enjoying these markers.

To finish it off I embellished with the Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon (Z1990) and stars from the Scaredy Cat Assortment (Z3011).

Oh and I think this doesn’t have to be just a Halloween card, but I made mine for a Birthday.

Now it is time to hop over to Stefani Ewing’s Blog to see what she has created!

Thanks for stopping by.
