The new Cricut Artfully Sent Collection is perfect to make any card you need.  This cartridge features pop-up, scene, sentiment, sleeve, pocket cards, and so much more.  Here is a look at the Cartridge Bundle and what comes with it.

Today, I am here to share with you the projects that we will make in February for this class, 2 cards and an envelope.

Artfully Sent Class 02 (1)

This month we are going to focus on the sentiment key cards. First, I’ll start with the “Hello Sunshine” card.  This was actually designed by CTMH as a make-n-take at last year’s Convention.

Artfully Sent Class 02 (4)

It is so simple.  I cut the card from Kraft cardstock and then just backed the “openings” with various other colors of paper.

Artfully Sent Class 02 (2)

This is the 2nd card that we will make.  Again just cut the card (I chose Canary cardstock) and back the “opening” with paper of your choice (I chose a sheet from the Paper Fundamentals pack).  This key also features an image of a bunny, so I had to add that to the card front as well.

Artfully Sent Class 02 (3)

The Cricut Artfully Sent Collection comes with 3 great stamp sets.  Here I used the Just to Say (D1629) and Curlicue Frames (D1631) stamp sets on the inside of the card.

You can create these 2 cards and envelope by joining me at my next Cricut Class, Saturday, February 28 at 9am in my studio in Amelia, VA.

Cost is $12 if you own the Artfully Sent Cartridge. Simply bring your Cricut, Artfully Sent Cartridge Bundle, and I'll supply the rest and walk you through the cuts.

Cost is $24 if you don't own the Artfully Sent Cartridge, because I'll cut all of your pieces for you ahead of time.

Leave a comment or contact me to attend.

Cricut Artbooking Class – “10 Things” Layout

This is the last Cricut Artbooking Class for 2014.  It’s your last chance to get detailed instruction on using your Artbooking Collection.

Artbooking Class 11 (1) - Smaller

I found this layout as part of a YouTube video that CTMH created in their series “Artbooking Made Easy.”

Artbooking Class 11 (3)

I used paper from the following collections: Seaside, Chalk It Up, and the Paper Fundamentals.  I also embellished the layout with the Green & Blue Epoxy Bubbles (Z1806).

Artbooking Class 11 (2)

I used 3 stamp sets: Happy Hexagons (C1596), All The Details (D1555), and Oodles of Doodles (B1449).  The Happy Hexagons stamp set is only available to Hostesses as part of their Hostess Rewards (or to my Club Members).

The other 2 stamp sets have images that coordinate with 2 of other Cricut cartridges, therefor they will not retire.

You can create this page by joining me at my next Cricut Class, Saturday, November 15 at 9am in my studio in Amelia, VA.

Cost is $10 if you own the Artbooking cartridge. Simply bring your Cricut, Artbooking Cartridge Bundle, and I'll supply the rest and walk you through the cuts.

Cost is $20 if you don't own the Artbooking cartridge, because I'll cut all of your pieces for you ahead of time.

Cricut Artbooking–“Halloween” Layout

My year of Artbooking classes is coming to a close – there are only 3 classes left and here’s the next one.

Artbooking Class 09 (1) - Smaller

I have to give a special shout-out to Dana Kessler and Christine Adams for their inspiration with this page.

I don’t have a close-up picture of the cat, but take a close look at her collar.  That’s right it’s purple shimmer trim.  The tiniest little piece.  But she needed some sparkle.

Artbooking Class 09 (2)

I think the house is so cool looking.  It’s just simply cut out of black cardstock and backed with Honey cardstock in the windows.  Then pop it up with some 3-d Foam Tape.  So cool!

Artbooking Class 09 (4)

The bats that came out of this moon cut were sponged with Archival Black Ink before adhering to the page.  Oh and back the moon with black cardstock and 3-D foam tape.  Have you noticed there’s a theme here. (3-D Foam Tape)

Artbooking Class 09 (3)

This is probably my favorite effect.  Cut the title twice and offset it.  Thank you Christine Adams for this one!

Remember all cuts are from the Cricut Artbooking collection

You can create this page by joining me at my next Cricut Class, Saturday, September 20 at 9am in my studio in Amelia, VA.

Cricut Class–Pathfinding “family” page

This is probably one of my favorite Cricut Artbooking classes.  I am so pleased with how this turned out and it really wasn’t that hard.

Artbooking Class 08 (1)

Starting in mid-August all of my classes will be using the new Pathfinding Collection (available August 1).  As you can see it is perfect for fall pages.  Here is a close-up of just the page itself.

Artbooking Class 08 (2)

There are just a few embellishments that are retired or retiring on Thursday, July 31.  They are the brown striped ribbon, the baker’s twine hemp, and the color ready cork shapes.

Artbooking Class 08 (3)

I did not do any stamping or inking on this page it is just straight Cricut cuts and all from the Artbooking cartridge.

Artbooking Class 08 (4)

You can create this page by joining me at my next Cricut Class, Saturday, August 16 at 9am in my studio in Amelia, VA.

The Shadow Box Frame is sold separately and available at the discounted price of $32 for attending this class.

Blog Hop–Focus on Summer

Welcome to another Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!  This team is led by Kimberly Moss.  This month we are going to focus our artwork on Summer.

If you have come here from Jen Patrick’s Blog, you are on the right path!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your away all around.  Just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

The project I have to share with you today is for my upcoming Cricut Class to be held Saturday, June 21 at 9am.  So if you are local to Amelia, VA come and join us.  Cost is $10 if you own the cartridge and $20 if you don’t.  You can email me for more details (jaime_llewellyn@yahoo.com).

Artbooking Class 06 (0) - Smaller

Now I can’t take all of the credit for this layout.  If you have watched the final episode of the Artbooking Made Easy series you might recognize it.  It was designed by CTMH and I changed a few cuts and made it work for my class.

All cuts are from the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and I used the Jubilee and Ivy Lane paper packets along with the Paper Fundamentals Basics Assortment

Artbooking Class 06 (1)

One thing they talked about in the video was painting color of some of the cuts to create an ombre effect.  I chose to use 2 ink pads and sponges instead (I thought it would be easier).  So I cut the umbrella and title from white cardstock and used the Sky and Pacifica Ink pads along with a sponge to add color.  I just made sure the color was lighter on the top than at the bottom.

Artbooking Class 06 (2)

The next blogger on the hop is Di Crawford.  Happy Hopping.

“make a WISH” layout Cricut Class

Here’s one of my latest creations with the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.

Artbooking Class 05 - Smaller

I have to give credit to Krista Hershberger for her inspiration with this layout.  She designed the majority of it and I just added a bunch of other stuff.

Artbooking Class 05 - Left

I used papers from the Timberline and Skylark Paper collections and embellished with the Green/Blue Epoxy Bubbles.

Artbooking Class 05 - Right

You can join me and create this page at my next Cricut Class this Saturday, May 31 at 9am in my studio in Amelia, VA.

Dress Card using the Artiste cartridge and Chantilly Textiles

In addition to the layout I shared yesterday this is the card that we will create at my July Cricut Class (Sat. July 27th at 9am).

I can't take credit for designing this card.  I "scrap lifted" it from another CTMH Consultant, Julie Reynolds.  Thanks Julie for the inspiration!

This card is so easy to make.  All images are cut from the Artiste cartridge; the dress form, the dress, and the oval.  I cut the dress form out of Cashmere cardstock, then sponged the bottom of it with Black ink.  The dress was cut from White cardstock and I cut off the skirt part.

Then I used a small rectangle piece of the pink fabric from the Chantilly Textiles as the skirt.  I used a small piece of Scor-Tape to "hem" each edge so that it had a nice rounded finish. Then just wrapped it around the cardstock to be the skirt of the dress.  I finished it off with a small strip of the Black Shimmer Trim (love this stuff - head's up we have 2 new colors coming out in the Autumn/Winter Idea Book)

If you are local to Amelia, VA and want to take my Cricut Class, here are the details.
Saturday, July 27th from 9-11am
Cost is $10 if you own the Artiste cartridge
Cost is $20 if you don't own the Artiste cartridge and I will cut all of your papers ahead of time

If you aren't local I can put together a kit for you.  Just add $5 the cost of either of the above options that apply to you.

This class is almost full so register now to attend.

Thanks for stopping by.

"Good Times" Layout featuring the Hello Blooms stamp set

This is a layout that I created for my July Cricut Class (Sat. July 27th at 9am).  I really wanted to use the new Hello Blooms stamp set (C1540).

I really liked the flowers and especially that they can all be cut using the Artiste cartridge, and of course the bird is just so cute.  I cut a bunch of flowers out of white cardstock and stamped them in various colors.  And of course, I popped some of them up with 3-D Foam Tape.

I also really wanted to use our new Chantilly Textiles on the page.  I was going to try cutting them on the cricut, but I could figure out how to incorporate that on my page.  So instead I used it as a "skirt" at the bottom of the page.

I just laid down a strip of 1/2" Scor-Tape, then starting at one end I just stuck the fabric to it "pleating/gathering" as I went.  On top of the fabric is a 1/2" strip of Brown Glitter Paper that I adhered with 3-D Foam Tape.

The Brown/Tan Glitter Paper has been a lot of fun to work with.  You get 1 - 12"x12" sheet of 3 different shades in a pack.  (I've got more artwork with the glitter paper that I will be posting over the next few days.)

As I was finishing up the page, I felt that it needed just one more thing.

So I added some pinwheels and a ribbon slide.

This class is almost full so register now to attend.

Thanks for stopping by.  Tomorrow I am sharing the card that we will also make at this class.

April Stamp of the Month

Well it's the beginning of the month and that means a new Stamp of the Month

April's stamp set is called My Sunshine.

There are numerous stamps in this set that coordinate with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.  The picture above is the actual carrier sheet for the stamp set.  You can see each image that has an outline around it also has a size and page # listed.  The page number refers to the Cricut Artiste booklet and the size is the size that the image should be cut.  It's so simple.  No more cutting out your stamped images.

Here is a card that I created for my Monthly Cricut Artiste class.

I used the Tommy Paper Pack, Dimensional Elements Awards, and the Baker's Twine Hemp from the Mini-Medley Accents Wooden Collection.

If you live close to Amelia, VA you can join us for my Monthly Cricut Artiste Class on Saturday, April 27 at 9am.  The class is just $10 if you own the Cricut Artiste collection and $20 if you don't as I will cut all of your papers ahead of time.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the 2 other projects that we will also create at this Class.
