Scrapbooking Yard Sale

If you are a paper crafter and have been in the craft for a few years then you probably have some items that you have never used.  Not because they aren't great, but because your tastes have changed, or you bought another tool that does the same thing, or because you loved the paper in the store, but can't seem to use it on a page.  Well here is your chance to make a little money off of those items and sell them to someone that would love to have them.

On Saturday, June 2 from 9-11am I am hosting a Scrapbooking Yard Sale in my studio at my home.  This event is completely free.  I'll even supply the tables for you to sell your things on.  All you have to do is bring your items to sell. 

We also need people to tell their friends.  So pass the word along and join us on Saturday, June 2 from 9-11am.

I am just crazy for Dotty!

Let's go Cruisin' in June

It's that time of the month again....no not that one.  It's time to place your orders for next month's Scrapbooking Clubs.  In June we are using the Cruisin' paper packet.  Here are the first 2 pages.

These papers are perfect for scrappin' your latest road trip, heritage photos, 50's or 60's memories, or if you happen to have pictures of antique cars or fire engines.

All workshops are held in my studio in Amelia, VA and we'll be making these pages on the following dates:

Sunday, June 10 from 2-5pm

Thursday, June 14 from 6:30pm-9:30pm

Saturday, June 16 from 2-5pm

Spring Is in the Air in May

Each month I create a different type of project for my monthly Cricut Art Philosophy class. I was so inspired by this video that I just had to duplicate one of the projects for next month's class. Take a look.

Florentine is now one of my favorites

So I just finished making the pages for next month's Scrapbooking Clubs using the Florentine paper and it is now one of my favorites. I just love these papers. I can't really explain why, but they really highlighted my photos well. I think it's the blues & oranges which have always been a great color combination, but not something I would normally be drawn to. I just love the stripes in this packet too.

I added the Stickease to my project because they were too cool looking. I love the almost tie-dyed look of them. There are also so many sentiments in the set that it makes for really easy titles and journaling.

12 Cards and a Card Box Workshop

Don't miss my latest workshop. Wouldn't it be great to have a stash of cards and a card box to keep them in? This would also make a great gift for a friend or for Mother's Day.

We will make 12 cards total using 4 new A-size stamp sets. The "Thanks" and "Seashell" cards come together so quickly using the Thanks and Quick Cards - Shell stamp sets. We will also decorate one of the My Creations Card Boxes for you to keep your cards in.

Cost of the workshop is just $25 and includes all of the paper, embellishments, card box, stamps and inks to create your cards.
