Claire Workshop On The Go Kit

The Instructional Brochure provides you with detailed instructions on cutting, stamping, and assembling the layout above.  It's so easy to follow.

I added the Pink Glitter Gems (Z1807) and Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape (Z1817), my new favorite embellishment.  I'm a bit late to join the "Washi craze", but I love it.  It's very forgiving so if you don't like where you put it, simply pull it up and reposition. (Unless you just stuck it to a photo - it's not coming off - at least mine didn't.)

Here's a great picture of the My Acrylix Keepsake Alphabet stamp set (E1024).  This stamp set was actually much easier than I thought it would be to match up.  You do need to stamp each letter individually, but since the stamps and the blocks are clear it so easy.  Also, CTMH has already informed that this item will be retiring soon - so get it before it's gone.

Dream Pop - "How lovely is our Family" layout

Here is the second layout that I created with the Dream Pop papers.

As in the first layout I really wanted to use a lot of the elements that were already printed on the page.  For instance in this layout it was the title section "How Lovely".  I just used another piece of cardstock to cover that up on the right page.  I also used Close To My Heart's How To Book "Make It From Your Heart" pattern #5.

I think one of my favorite embellishments on these pages is the Sparkles Clear Flourishes - Small.  They are already adhesive backed and the package contains 6 different flourishes total.

For the title, I used the Irresistibles Houndstooth Alphabet again, but for this page I sponged it with Lagoon Ink.  I also added the Kraft Keyboard Alphabet to complete my title.

Dream Pop - "You're a Hoot" Layout

Here is the first of 2 layouts that I created with the Dream Pop papers. 

The patterned paper in the Dream Pop paper pack makes it so easy to create layouts.  The pages are already printed with smaller strips of papers and even titles.  I know this will sound corny, but I just laid the paper out and let it "speak to me." Oh, and I also used Close To My Heart's How To Book Reflections for help with with the pattern. This layout uses the pattern Main Frame - Back Drop for the left page and Bottom Border - Quartet for the right page.

This owl is printed on one of the patterned papers and I definitely had to make sure that "he" was the star of the page.  I simply trimmed it out and it made a great embellishment.

For the title, I used the Irresistibles Houndstooth Alphabet and I sponged it with Cotton Candy Ink.  I just love our line of Irresistibles products.  They are so easy to use and you can ink them to match to any paper.

Soak up the Sun with Footloose

Wouldn't it be great to scrapbook your beach photos the year you take them?  Well, the Footloose collection is going to help you do that. I am taking orders for next month's Scrapbooking Club - Footloose.

Yes - one week in a row. I know it's nothing to scream about, but that's a huge accomplishment for me.

Well, I'm here to tell you about my Monthly Scrapbooking Workshops. All of my

workshops are held in my studio above our detached garage at my home in Amelia, VA.

Ooo.....Ahh.....

My club members and myself are definitely loving it and we would love to have you join us in April for pages that will highlight the royalty in your life. We will be using the new Lucy collection to create 4 12x12 scrapbook pages.

(In case you are wondering what is up with my hair - I had just had a massage and was very relaxed.)

These pages are all about the BLING. I love the new Sparkle Flourishes and they complemented these pages perfectly.
