Scrapbook Club–Wanderful and Heartstrings

February’s Scrapbook Club is so big we are doing 2 collections.  This means you have a choice of doing both collections or just one.

The first collection is Wanderful, which is perfect for all of your travel photos.

I personally have a lot of travel photos and really enjoyed this kit, especially the stamp set that comes in the Workshop On The Go kit.  Here is a closer look at some of the images that are stamped (“Explore”, arrows, and the journaling spot).

The Wanderful Workshop on the Go kit comes with a roll of the Arrow Washi Tape and the Wanderful Assortment. 

I also added the the Wanderful Complements.  Here’s a closer look.

 

Now on to your 2nd choice, Heartstrings.  This collection screams LOVE, hearts, and roses.

This particular collection was not designed with a Workshop On The Go Kit, so I created my own pages.  I actually used the same pattern as the first Wanderful layout shown above.  Then I just added the Heartstrings Complements, Heartstrings Assortment, and White Shimmer Trim.

Again for the 2nd layout I simply used the same pattern as the 2nd layout of the Wanderful collection.

There is no stamping on any of the Heartstrings pages.

Scrapbook Club–Chalk It Up

I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season.  I spent the weekend in North Carolina visiting with my extended family.  I was able to spend some time with my aunt and cousins and their families whom I generally see once a year.  I am so grateful that we all still make the time to connect with each other. Even if it is only once a year.  I hope you are able to do the same with your families.

Well, I’m here to share another set of scrapbook layouts  that we will make at my Scrapbook Club in January featuring the Chalk It Up collection.

This collection is perfect for all of those school pictures that you have of your children.  Since I don’t have children I choose to keep mine more neutral to be able to use for something else, like retreat photos – yeah! 

The stamp set that comes in the Workshop on the Go Kit is a great for titles and journaling spots.  As shown below.

I chose to add some glitter paper from the Teal Glitter Paper Pack as photo mats.  I think those photos are really going to “sparkle” right off the page.  Ha!

Above is the second layout that I created as part of my Scrapbook Club that will meet in January.  I again used strips of a different piece of glitter paper along with a few strategically punched pieces of cardstock using the Chevron Border Punch.

Now I believe in giving credit where it is due.  I didn’t decide to use the chevron border punch, my sister did. She also had this brilliant idea. 

She used the Designer Creations Slate Paper Bags as an additional photo/journaling holder behind a photo.  How awesome, a product that was meant to be used for party favors or gift giving can become an embellishment on a scrapbook page.

What is a Club Member you ask?

 

 

Well it's someone who places a monthly order of at least $25.  It can be any product of their choosing OR the product they will need and use at the next Scrapbooking Club Workshop.

 

 

I take everyone's order and put them all together to place one big order and share the Hostess Rewards with the Club Members.  Once every 4 months they receive free product (as little as $25, but up to $40 plus an item at 50% off).
